Primitive Camp Meeting at Red River
Primitive Camp Meeting And Primitive Rendezvous at the Red River Meeting House <direct.htm> today through Sunday with church services at 7 p.m. daily, along with Saturday & Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. History lessons will be presented at 2 p.m. each day along with music, singing and other activities throughout the day. Campers will learn how to build a fire using flint and steel. Tours of a Cheyenne teepee and dulcimer music lessons, hawk and skillet throwing competition, tinsmith seminar, Dutch oven cooking lessons, period clothing demonstrations, long hunter food demonstrations are planned. Primitive dress is strongly encouraged. Firewood and water furnished. This will be a family event - No alcohol - No profanity. Modern camping area & RV parking available.
